The centrifugal pump the causes of common faults and processing methods

In the feed water system, water pump in a running condition, often used for a variety of fault make water pump can't work normally. The centrifugal water pump common fault, causes and handling methods:
1. The pump is not water
(1) when the water pump suction pipe for down slope inside of air, gas, and has set up a water pump can't continuous suction caused by the water pump is not water. When there is a down slope, the slope should be adjusted, and timely troubleshooting the air pump body and suction tube.
(2) suction bottom valve is lax or damaged, the suction pipe under water, or bottom valve and water intake were choked up with silt sundry, to close the bottom valve is lax. When after confirm the fault should be timely clean up dirt, bottom valve, the damage should be replaced.
(3) the bottom valve submerged depth can also cause the pump is not enough water, should increase the depth of the suction pipe dipped in the water.
(4) tank (tank) water level is too low will make the water pump is not in the water, at this time should check whether the water into the water, the water pressure in the system is woefully inadequate, ball valves, liquid level control valve malfunction. Find problems should timely adjust the filling time (e.g., use of slack when water filling water at night), the inlet valve repair or replacement failure.
2. The submerged depth of the water pump water yield decrease except check suction, suction pipe down slope to save gas and other reasons, still need to check whether the water pump impeller sealing ring is damaged, and the timely replacement.
3. The water pump bearing overheating when the pump is running, the bearing temperature rise should not be more than 60 ℃, when bearing the lack of oil or water pump and motor shaft different heart, bearing gap is too small, too tightly on the packing, all can cause bearing overheating. At this point, we should adjust the concentricity, refueling, adjust the packing gland firmness.
4. The pump running vibration and noise is too big.
Pump concentricity deviation is too large will produce larger vibration, the second should check if the anchor bolts, foundation bolts tightened without loose. To require strict control of noise and vibration of buildings should increase vibration or vibration isolator.
When the depth of the suction pipe is too large, water when the water level is too low, will cause the water pump cavitation phenomenon and increase the pump noise.
